This course is for existing and certified operators who are due for re-assessment or for people with no operating experience at all.
It is a legal requirement under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, that all people who operate machinery should be correctly trained in their safe use.
The course gives the operator candidates the practical and theoretical skills to operate a MEWP safely and efficiently. The course culminates in test of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills and the candidate must achieve the required level before receiving a certificate of basic training.
This is a 1 day course for a maximum of 3 candidates on the 3a or 3b machines.
